Questions
Do my guests need to download anything?
No. The QR code, the link and the event code all open the invitation in the browser on their phone, where they record, write or add a photo and send it. They don’t need an account either.
What can guests leave?
A voice note of up to five minutes, a video of up to two minutes, or a written message, with a photo if they want to add one.
What is the event code for?
Every event has an eight-character code, like A5C3 89XZ. It’s for guests who can’t scan the QR code or didn’t get the link: they type it on this page and the invitation opens.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once per event, by how many guests you expect, and the next event is a separate choice. Small gatherings of up to five guests are free.
Who can see the messages?
Only you, when you’re signed in as the host. Guests see your invitation and send their own message; they don’t see anyone else’s.
When do messages stop arriving?
You can set an end date. After it the invitation stays readable but stops collecting messages, so a keepsake doesn’t keep changing.
Do I need an iPhone?
Not to host. There’s an iPhone app, and everything it does, from creating the event to reading the messages, also works here on the web. Guests can use any phone.
